Welcome to Flynt 👋
Thanks for being here! These terms explain how Flynt works and what we both agree to when you use it. We’ve kept the language as simple as possible. If something still feels unclear, email us at hello@flynt-connect.com — we’ll happily explain.
1. Who we are
Flynt is run by Flynt Connect Ltd, registered in England and Wales. When we say “we”, “us” or “our”, we mean the company. When we say “you”, we mean you — the person using Flynt.
2. What Flynt does
Flynt helps professionals meet for meaningful, one-to-one conversations. We use the info you share (like your interests and goals) to introduce you to people we think you’ll click with, then help with scheduling and reminders. We can’t guarantee every match will be perfect, but we’ll do our best to make it worthwhile.
3. Using Flynt
- You need to be at least 18 to use Flynt.
- Please give accurate details and keep them up to date — that’s how we make better matches.
- You’re responsible for anything that happens in your account. Keep your login safe.
- Be kind and respectful. No bullying, harassment, discrimination, spam, or illegal behaviour.
4. Your content
You own the content you share on Flynt — your profile, photo, bio, and anything you write. By using Flynt, you give us permission to use that content only to run and improve the service (for example, showing your profile to potential matches). We don’t claim ownership, and we won’t sell your data.
5. Conversations and calls
When you meet someone through Flynt, those conversations are between you and them. We’re not responsible for what’s said or agreed during chats. Please keep discussions professional and kind.
If you use Flynt’s optional note-taking or recording features, we’ll always ask for consent. You’re responsible for getting consent from others in the conversation before turning those features on.
6. Third-party tools
Flynt may connect with other tools (like Google Calendar or video links). Each of those has its own terms and privacy policy — please check those separately. We can’t control how those services work.
7. Privacy
We take privacy seriously. We store your profile and matching data securely and only use it to make Flynt work better. Full details are in our Privacy Policy. If we make any big changes to how we handle your data, we’ll let you know.
8. Paid features
Some parts of Flynt may be paid in the future. Before you pay for anything, we’ll always tell you the price, renewal terms, and cancellation steps clearly. You can cancel any time — we’ll explain how right on the page.
9. Intellectual property
Everything we’ve created for Flynt — the design, software, logo, and brand — belongs to Flynt Connect Ltd. You can use it only as part of the service. Please don’t copy, sell, or reuse our content or code without permission.
10. Changes to Flynt
We’re constantly improving Flynt, so features may change or come and go. We’ll try to give notice if something important is changing or if we need to pause the service for maintenance or safety reasons.
11. Liability
Flynt is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it great, but we can’t promise it’ll always be perfect or bug-free. If something goes wrong, we’re not responsible for things beyond our control, or for indirect losses like missed opportunities or profits.
Our total legal responsibility to you won’t be more than the amount you’ve paid us in the past 12 months (or £100 if you use the free version). We don’t limit or exclude anything we legally can’t — like death or injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
12. Ending your use
You can delete your account or stop using Flynt at any time. We might suspend or remove access if someone breaks these terms, behaves inappropriately, or uses Flynt in a harmful way. We may also close inactive accounts to keep the community healthy.
13. Complaints and disputes
If you’re unhappy about something, please email hello@flynt-connect.com first — we’ll do our best to sort it quickly and fairly. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a dispute needs formal resolution, it’ll be handled by the courts of England and Wales (or your local UK court if you live elsewhere in the UK).
14. Updating these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as Flynt evolves. If the changes are big or affect your rights, we’ll notify you in the app or by email and may ask you to agree again before continuing to use the service.
