Welcome to Flynt
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Flynt Connect Ltd. By creating an account, accessing Flynt, or using Flynt features, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Flynt is operated by Flynt Connect Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16488976). In these Terms, "Flynt", "we", "us" and "our" mean Flynt Connect Ltd. "You" means the user of the service.
2. What Flynt does
Flynt helps professionals connect through introductions, matching, in-person events, and networking features. To do this, we may show your Flynt profile to other users so they can understand who they are connecting with, and who they may connect with in future.
3. Eligibility and account basics
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Flynt.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account details current.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must use Flynt lawfully and respectfully. Harassment, abuse, discrimination, fraud, spam, and illegal activity are prohibited.
4. Your profile and content
You keep ownership of the content you upload to Flynt, including profile details, images, and written content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate and improve Flynt, including showing your profile to other users for matching, introductions, events, and networking.
We may ask for your feedback or testimonials from time to time. We will only use testimonials for marketing or promotional purposes with your consent.
5. Invitations, participation, and account status
Flynt may limit, suspend, or deactivate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or legal compliance. This includes situations where you withdraw interest in using Flynt, decline a Flynt invitation, or repeatedly ignore Flynt invitations and participation requests.
We may also suspend or deactivate accounts for misuse, harmful behavior, fraud risk, or breaches of these Terms.
6. Matching, scheduling, and changes
- You may pause matching for up to two months at a time using available in-app controls.
- You may request to reschedule or cancel a match at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to support your request.
- We may adjust matching, scheduling, and event operations to keep the service reliable and safe.
7. Calendar, messaging channels, and third-party services
Some Flynt features rely on third-party providers, including calendar, messaging, email, analytics, payments, infrastructure, and AI tooling. Their separate terms and policies also apply when you use connected features.
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, you authorise Flynt to use the required access to schedule meetings and avoid conflicts with your existing calendar events. If you do not connect Google Calendar, we may still send calendar invites to your email address but we will not exchange your calendar event data with Google on your behalf.
If you choose to connect WhatsApp features, you authorise Flynt to share match-related details needed for the messaging experience (for example name and job title) with our messaging providers.
8. Paid services
Flynt may offer paid services, including meetup or event-related purchases. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers. Before payment, we will show key commercial terms such as pricing, what is included, and applicable cancellation or refund terms.
9. Support and communications
You can contact support at any time from your dashboard or by emailing hello@flynt-connect.com. We may contact you with service communications required to operate your account and matches.
10. Deactivation, deletion, and retention window
You may deactivate your Flynt account at any time. After deactivation, we retain your account data for 30 days in case you reactivate. After that window, we permanently delete account data from Flynt systems, and remove you from current and historical match participation records as part of our deletion workflow, subject to any data we must retain to comply with legal obligations, fraud prevention, or security requirements.
11. Intellectual property
Flynt and its software, branding, designs, and content are owned by Flynt Connect Ltd or its licensors. You may use Flynt only as permitted by these Terms and may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit Flynt without permission.
12. Liability and disclaimers
Flynt is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific match outcomes, or that all introductions will be suitable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flynt is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
13. Changes to Flynt and these Terms
We may update the service and these Terms from time to time. When updates are material, we may notify you and require you to accept the latest Terms before continuing to access parts of Flynt.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
