Bedtime is one of the hardest parts of parenting. 70% of UK parents say putting their child to bed is stressful (YouGov, 2022). Exhaustion, guilt, and worry creep in when children won’t settle — and the usual tricks (checking under the bed, one more story) often don’t work. That’s why we’re building Dozey — the bedtime co-pilot for parents. Dozey helps children aged 5–9, especially those who find it hard to wind down, feel safe, calm, and ready for sleep. Every session is personalised, emotionally safe, and shaped by clinical input — so parents can trust it as part of their bedtime routine. Created by a parent of a child with ADHD, Dozey was born out of real-life struggle and designed to meet the needs of modern families. Parents can choose themes their child loves — from space to sharks — and Dozey creates guided meditations, body scans, calming stories, and routine support that gently adapts over time. Dozey is more than another kids’ sleep app. It’s a trusted tool that supports co-regulation, builds healthy routines, strengthens parent–child connection, and gives parents the gift of calmer evenings. We’re currently building our prototype and looking for early-stage investment and advisors.
