Flynt hit 500 members. Lessons from 100+ matches, early signals it’s working, and what we’re building next.

TL;DR: We’ve passed 500. Across 100+ matches, repeat participation and “would love to meet again” feedback are the clearest signs we’re building something people want more of.
That number matters to us, not because it’s “big”, but because it signals a real appetite for better professional connections. Our first ever match was a Staff UX Researcher at Strava with a Senior Product Designer at Let’s Do This. We paired them manually, held our breath, and both of them loved it. Back then, matching by hand was the only way to learn what “a great match” actually feels like in practice. Since then, we’ve moved from connecting close contacts by hand to a matching engine that can run pairings reliably at scale. Most members on the platform now don’t know us personally, which is exactly how it should be. A few smaller (but no less meaningful) signals we’re on the right track:
Those signals give us real fuel for what comes next.
No notes, just a really good experience! Eye-opening to hear from somebody who shares the same job title as myself, but whose day-to-day is so radically different.

We want Flynt to work for people at different career stages. A recent graduate needs something different to someone stepping into leadership. A time-poor exec needs something different again. Our job is to make the experience feel relevant, so each conversation is worth the hour it takes. We’ve already seen a wide spectrum of people sign up: founders, execs, people transitioning into leadership, and people right at the start of their journey. Our aim is to build a product that meets you where you are, and evolves as you do. Over the coming weeks and months, we will start to share more about a few parts of the wider Flynt vision:
This is only a slice of what we want Flynt to become. The long-term vision is to support you through your career by helping you find the right people, the right conversations, and the right opportunities to move your work and your life forward.
