Growth is accelerating, our members are inviting their teams, and 116 matches means 232 people who've had a conversation worth having. Beta is done!

TL;DR: February was a month of proof. People are inviting their teams, matches are turning into real relationships, and our first-ever referral campaign has a winner. We're closing Beta, launching v1 at the end of March, and hosting our first in-person meetup in April. Come be part of what's next.
We crossed 500 members less than a month ago. Today we're at 600. We've introduced 232 people to each other. And one of our members liked Flynt enough to personally invite her team. I don't want to oversell what that means, but I also believe those numbers are the green shoots of something special.
In February, we ran our first-ever referral campaign. The rules were simple: invite two people you genuinely admire and you'd be entered to win £200. We saw that our members were starting to invite friends anyway, why not reward them for it. Steph, one of our members and a Growth Marketing Manager at HelloFresh, was already inviting her colleagues and continued to spread the word. She didn't just hit the threshold and stop. She brought in colleagues she believed would get real value from Flynt. We're planning more referral competitions. Watch this space.
The reason Steph referred colleagues wasn't to win. It was because Flynt solved something real for her.
I'm not confident about approaching people at networking events. Flynt is a perfect happy medium. Genuine connections, without the awkwardness.

We keep hearing some version of the same thing: "I don't have to do the uncomfortable bit anymore." The uncomfortable bit being walking into a room of strangers and hoping something useful happens. Flynt handles the matching. Members handle the conversation. That separation is doing more work than I initially expected it to. Steph also had a sharp observation about match quality, one that maps closely to some of my own assumptions about what the sweet spot might look like:
Too similar and you end up venting about the same performance reviews. Too different and it's surface-level 'what do you do.' The sweet spot is relevant enough for common ground, different enough to actually learn something.

That's exactly what we're building toward. And hearing it articulated back to us unprompted is a good sign we're on the right track.
By the end of February, Flynt had completed 116 successful matches. That's 232 people who sat down with someone new because we thought they'd be worth each other's time. There are also some cancelled matches to learn from. We’ve improved a few parts of the experience to make the stakes feel a bit higher at the point of cancelling. Which they are! Flynt is a high intent community and we want it to feel rewarding for everyone.

The successful matches to us, feels worth celebrating. Steph spoke about someone on FLynt in a partnerships role she wouldn't have found through her own network. The Flynt intro led to team introductions that are still ongoing. That's one match from that 116. Multiply it.
We crossed 500 members for the first time less than a month ago. We're at 600 today. What feels really great is that growth is starting to come from different places, from word of mouth, to referrals, socials and our team personally inviting people we think would be great to have on Flynt . Flynt grows with you. We wrote that as a philosophy for how we’re thinking about scaling our community. Including how we think about Subscriptions (more on that soon). We're now watching our aspirations start to unfold. The vision we're building toward is a platform that meets people where they are in their careers, from early professionals finding their footing, all the way through to senior leaders who need high-signal peer connections and no longer want to explain themselves to the room. We're just at the beginning of a long and incredible journey.

We’ve learned everything we could from Beta, there is no doubt that we’re building a powerful community and product. Above all, no doubt that people really need this and we need it now. With the advent of rapidly accelerating AI technologies that risk leaving many people feeling uncertain about their careers and their futures, having others to navigate that societal change with, amongst many other things will be pivotal too. We’re aiming for a major launch at the end of March. More on that soon. The referral campaign, the matches, the 600 members — all of it was beta. What comes next is the real starting line.
The best version of everything we're building creates a community full of people who are glad they showed up. We're hosting our first in-person meetup in April. There will be some light updates on our journey and where we’re heading, with the same magic of the Flynt AI powered professional matching.

Apply to join Flynt and we hope to see you in April! We're just getting started.
